ABOUT BDC

Blackbird Design Company (Formerly Idea-Fusion) is a west Michigan based graphic design firm founded by principal artist Deidre Rose-O’Hara Kent {yes, that’s her legal name}. Backed by a BFA degree from Kendall College of Art & Design and over 10 years of professional design experience, she has the skills to pay the bills. The goal, meshing clients ideas with her own to create a winning design that both her and the client would be proud of.

Blackbird Design Company provides professional design services, specializing in identity design and print collateral. BDC combines imagination, versatile skills and creativity with proven design principles to fuse ideas into effective visual solutions.

Deidre calls home in the west side of the mitten {Rockford, Michigan}. Along with her husband, they share their home with 2 cats & 2 Labradors. When she not infront of the computer designing, she spend most of her day using her creative skills from extreme cake design to making jewlery. Deidre has been described as a collector of creative hobbies. You can always find her doing something crearivein her home studio.
